Dan began his career at the age of 11 fueling boats on the beautiful Northern California “Lake Berryessa”. His maritime career continued into the late 80’s in the San Francisco Bay Area. After the 1989 Earthquake, his career took off and over the next 10 years he crewed the rebuild and retrofitting of every major bridge in the Bay Area. By 2012, Dan moved to Seattle to manage a job for his previous employer and never left. After building a reputation in the industry he decided to embark on business ownership for himself. DeForge Maritime Towing is the result of a dedicated career in the towing and tug industry coupled with a hard working, knowledgeable crew.
