The tug Smokey is designed primarily for inland towing and onsite/dredging construction jobs. The vessel is powered by one (1) Caterpillar D-353 and fitted with Cat reduction gear 4:1. It has also been outfitted with a push knee, and push style winch. It drafts 6 feet and is excellent in shallow water making her a versatile towing tug.
